With the latest update, you can now create and log in to your SimStrategies account using Discord. While accounts don’t have specific functionality yet, exciting new features exclusively for logged-in users are just around the corner! Rest assured, we only use Discord to verify your identity and don’t request any additional permissions.

Adjust Laps per Stint in the Planner

The ACC Strategy Planner now lets you customize the number of laps per stint, automatically recalculating fuel requirements for the race start or during pit stops. By default, the planner evenly distributes laps across stints to optimize speed. However, strategic adjustments can be beneficial—extending stints to delay pit stop during mixed conditions or attempting an overcut on a slower car, for example.

You can fine-tune the laps per stint using the + and - buttons, and the final stint will automatically adjust to ensure the total race lap count is accurate.

What’s Next

With user login now in place, I’m excited to begin work on the endurance race dashboard. The first version will include features such as importing strategies from the planner, sharing plans with other users, assigning drivers to stints, and adding non-live information to the dashboard. This could include elements like a track map, helpful images and strategic tips.
